2008 Team Season

Fisher's Racing welcomed new rider and experienced expert racer Mike Applehans to the team. Also new to the team in 2008, Brian Morrison took classes and training to earn his MRA racing license. Expert racers Alen Braswell, Cal Neske, and David Morgan teamed up for WERA National Endurance Series, running the 6-hour race at Miller Motorports Park near Salt Lake City, Utah June 7th. The Fisher's Racing 2002 Honda CBR600F4i Supersport/Production bike ran in the middlewight class. We improved our tire and fuel stops, tried some new tricks, and were able to place 5th!

Cal and Mike competed in the MRA season at Pueblo, Hastings and (newly reopened) PPIR, successfully challenging in Supersport, Superbike and Solo Endurance classes. David did not race in the MRA, but did compete in the team endurance event at MMP in June. That's in addition to his full-time commitment as Fisher's Racing team manager! Mark did not do any racing in 2008, but stepped up as crew chief for the team endurance race at MMP.  He also offered instruction and support for our newly licensed rider, Brian. Brian started MRA racing September 2008 after taking the Ricky Orlando school and Vanmar clinics.  We are all looking forward to racing in 2009 at our NEW! High Plains Raceway.
